Dear Friends, I welcome you to my website and I hope to maintain a lively, though via internet, communication.
I was born on February 23, 1972 in Thessaloniki. I studied social and economic sciences at the Johannes Kepler Universitaet in Linz – Austria. During my PhD, I stayed a year at UMIST (University of Manchester – Institute for Science and Technology). I am Associate Professor in the Department of Economics, School of Economics and Political Sciences, at Aristotle University.
My research concerns international economic relations, economic growth and development. I am Vice-President of ASECU (the Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea region), as well as Vice-President of the Institute for Social Research “Dimitris Mpatsis”.
